Field Trips

The school takes full advantage of the many interesting places to visit in the city and region. The local farmers’ market, the Toronto Zoo, the African Lion Safari in Rockton, and the Children’s Museum in London are just a few of the destinations of field trips regularly organized for the various classes, appropriate to age level and materials currently being studied in school. Transportation is by yellow school bus, and all trips are carefully supervised, nearly always with the help of parent volunteers. Students in Grade 4 ordinarily have an overnight trip to Ste. Marie among the Hurons. Senior students visit Ottawa and Quebec City for several days as part of their History and French Language programs.
