Welcome to the Kitchener - Waterloo Bilingual School

Founded in 1966, the Kitchener - Waterloo Bilingual School is a private, independent, and nonsectarian institution offering instruction from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8. The school is dedicated to excellence in French-English education and to the fostering of tolerance and respect for each individual child in an atmosphere of cultural, economic, racial, religious, and social diversity.

The school is located on Erb Street West at Erbsville Road, on the west side of Waterloo, in what was originally a separate village named Rummelhardt. The school’s physical facility includes the fieldstone structure built in the 1840s as Rummelhardt School.
